This year, we once again illuminated the glamorous Vienna Opera Bal, uniting heritage and modernity with our exquisitely crafted Swarovski Tiara that adorned all 144 debutantes. Inspired by starry night skies, this year’s design takes cues from our Stella family, featuring a celestial design of shooting stars in a graceful nod to the jewels of Austrian Empress Sissi.

We have created a tiara for the Vienna Opera Ball every year since the 1950s, in a tradition that brings together two celebrated Austrian institutions for a special moment of wonder and Savoir-Faire. This year’s Swarovski Tiara – a dazzling design with 435 dazzling crystals - is the first tiara designed by our Creative Director Giovanna Engelbert, who took the famous star shaped jewels worn by the Austrian Empress Sissi as an inspiration.

As an Austrian company, we proudly sponsor this illustrious event, celebrating an important cultural moment in Austria – and is a partnership which naturally feeds into our LUXignite strategy where we put forward a constant luxurization of our brand through key cultural associations.

Among our invited guests we were honored to welcome business partners, influencers, and key journalists. They enjoyed a magical gala dinner at the Hotel Sacher, Vienna, before attending the prestigious Vienna Opera Ball at the Vienna State Opera. Several guests were also dressed to celebrate in joyful extravagance with our mesmerizing jewelry, including artist and model Lili Paul-Roncalli and Fashion/Lifestyle-Creator Nic Kaufmann.
