We Have Entered a Ten-year Licensing Agreement With EssilorLuxottica Today!

We are very excited to announce that we have signed an exclusive license agreement today with market leader EssilorLuxottica for the design, manufacture and worldwide distribution of Swarovski Eyewear. 

The agreement will be effective until December 31, 2028, with an automatic renewal option of an additional five years. Our first collection under this agreement will be available in-store from September 2023. By doing so, we combine our creativity and savoir-faire with the knowledge, innovation and expertise of EssilorLuxottica. Both of us also share an alike history and heritage, and find our roots in the vision of two entrepreneurs, our founding father Daniel Swarovski, and Leonardo del Vecchio.

With this partnership, we proudly build on our luxury credentials alongside our commitment to eyewear as a key fashion accessory. Our eyewear features designs inspired by our jewelry families and brings an additional facet to our customer offering, complementing our beautiful jewelry, home décor and accessories collections. The first collection will be developed under the leadership of our Creative Director Giovanna Engelbert and be launched in time for the FW23 season. 

I am proud and excited about re-launching Swarovski Eyewear together with EssilorLuxottica. This will strengthen our commercial offering and revolutionize our go-to-market in this category with an ambitious growth plan that allows us to increase the presence of the category in our own Swarovski store network as well as in the big distribution that EssilorLuxottica brings’- Michele Molon, Chief Commercial Officer
